We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Sales Account Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 5 to 10 years of work experience in sales, freight, and international shipping. The Sales Account Executive will be responsible for building relationships with clients, creating innovative sales strategies, managing accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Sales Account Executive to join their team.

This position requires a candidate with 5 to 10 years of sales experience, pharmaceuticals, reefer, and air and/or ocean freight experience.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of successfully selling freight services to the pharmaceutical industry and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

You will oversee selling reefer/pharma air/ocean freight shipments with temperature-tracking capabilities throughout the entire transit to India and other destinations.

This job is On-Site in Edison, NJ.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and potential clients to increase sales opportunities
  • Analyze customer needs and develop innovative sales strategies to meet them
  • Manage accounts and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Identify new markets for products and services
  • Negotiate sales and contracts with clients
  • Monitor sales performance and keep records of activities
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and changes
  • Provide customer support services and resolve customer complaints
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or related field
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in sales, freight, and international shipping
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of industry trends and changes
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Valid driver’s license
  • 3+ years of import, export, logistics, and/or relevant experience required
  • Knowledge of Drayage operations a plus
  • Indian market knowledge is a plus
  • Pharmaceutical and temp-controlled (reefer) shipment knowledge preferred
